Are you referring to what came on from the factory or aftermarket? If aftermarket then you can go to tirerack.com and take a look-see. Welcome to TN.com!

Getting 245/55-19 will be tough. But I saw tires that were 255/55-19 , a Michelin 4x4 Synchrone and Goodyear Wrangler HP. Although a tiny bit bigger, they should work fine. Check them out at discounttire.com and use the tire calculator to compare the 245 with the 255 size.

I found some Blizzak's for ours. The Toyo's that it came with are TERRIBLE in our winter conditions. I waited to see how they were- it was like being on skis. The Blizzaks were provided by friends in the tire business- and they had a hard time coming up with them. They work great- in april I'll put the Toyo's back on.

Toyo has the Open Country H/T in a 245/55 R19 out with a 60,000 warranty. Good tire. I just installed them on my 2008.

Success! I switched from the Hybrid's silly P245/55 R19 over to P245/65 R17. Bought new wheels at the Tire Rack (good people), put Michelin Latitudes on them and had my trusty local guy put them on the car. Then I drove over to Toyota dealership and had them re-set the tire monitor screen. And voila! I do love the Michelins. The next time I buy tires, this will nearly pay for itself, In the meantime, I have top-quality tires.

Hope this helps some of y'all.

I was just down at the dealer and saw a 2009 HL Sport that came stock with the Bridgestone 19" 245/55tires instead of Toyo. Didn't get a chance to drive it, but thought it an oddity that it seemed to be the stock tire now. Just wanted to pass it along

I picked up my 2009 Limited just over two weeks ago (on order, so it was shipped from the factory and wasn't sitting on the lot for long), and it came with the Toyos. This is in Canada, however, which could be different than the HLs in the US.

The Bridgestone Dueler D400 245/55 19 is the only tyre fitted by Toyota to Australian models with 19" wheels.

Dunlop Grandtrek ST30 245/65 17 are fitted to Klugers with 17" wheels.

+1 for the Toyos in Cda. Got my HL about 3 wks ago and it too was direct from Japan. I believe the Cdn HLs come with the Toyos.

It could be a local thing, but I can't think of a reason to switch tires locally especially since the dealer sales both. Either way those are the only 2 tires we can get so I guess it doesn't really matter.

My HL came with the Toyo's. That was back in 2008. I just want a Micheline tire. As for now the Toyo HTs will work.

When I was searching local dealers for my Highlander, I discovered many with the Bridgestone's and many with the Toyo's. I think they are installed randomly at the factory.
