Cargo Carrier

Looking to get a cargo carrier that I can use 1 or 2x a year.

I looked on Autoanything.com because of their prices and selection and saw that they carried soft sided/canvas like carriers that strap on the roof racks.

Does anyone have any experience with these? I don't want a Thule or other hard case because then I have to find a place to store it when not in use, which will be the majority of the year.

Any recommendations?

I have the Thule soft/canvas bags. It's alright for short trips. Haven't tried it in wet weather yet, so can't comment on how well it's waterproof.

Factory crossrails doesn't really expands far enough so it kinda sit on top of the rails on the back.

needs to secure the belts cause it's very annoying hearing it scratch the roof.

When it's empty, have to remove it cause whole bag will constantly slams onto the roof.

Other than that, it's pretty alright for what I used it for. Able to put in 2 suitcases, 1 large and 1 small, and still seem to have areas left for sleeping bags or a small duffle.

place a baby carriage in there before. since with 3rd row up. nothing really fits behind there.
