no .. just keep cranking ..

you need to get "fresh" fuel .. washing out the varnished lines ..

FRESH FUEL ..

Hello thanks for your reply! Well I found half of the problem, there was a blown 15A fuse in the driver side fuse box so I swapped it with another one and now the fuel pump is working! It still will only start with starting fluid, but it runs for about 30 seconds with no starting fluid then it dies. I put 2 gallons of fresh gas in it too. Is there a reason why it just dies after a short time? Also if I press the throttle at all it'll start to stumble. Thanks alot

Gunked up injectors? Can you put a couple more fresh gallons of gas in it? Then suck down some seafoam through a vacuum line and let it sit for 30 min. Then try it again.

Yeah that sounds good. I put seafoam in the gas tank already and I was going to put some in the oil too since its been sitting so long. Hopefully that will clear everything up! Thanks for everyones input I appreciate it. I'll post tomorrow when I see if that solves it.

So I put seafoam in the vacuum booster line and let it sit for a while and It still only runs for maybe 20-30 seconds then sputters and shakes and dies. If I open the throttle at all it dies too unless its at WOT. Any input would be great thanks.

How much gas was in the tank before you put any new in? If it was any good amount the best thing to do would be to entirely drain the tank, whether it be siphoning it out or some other way and then putting new gas in.

Once you are sure you have good fuel in there and good fuel delivery and it still doesn't start its time to start verifying the other basics such as spark and air. Once those are verified then it comes to drivetrain control and other more in depth procedures.

I am betting its just still bad gas though.

Well I drained it then put about 4 gallons of good fuel in it, but its still an orange color and doesn't really smell like gas. I think I'll just put about ten gallons of fresh gas and hopefully it'll help. It's just weird how it wont turn over.

I would just keep going until you get fresh fuel coming out. If you can disconnect the main line to the fuel rail it will be easier to see.

Okay I'll try that.

I hope the injectors arent all clogged and stuff because that would be a hassle taking them out and stuff and getting all new gaskets.

Well I tried everything you guys suggested and it still wont stay running. I know its getting spark.
